Pat Caldwell - Rock Pile - Winter '26 Unisex T-Shirt

One of bodyboarding's early pioneers. The first person to perform an el rollo in competition. Pat graced the cover of the first-ever edition of Bodyboarding Magazine (May 1985). His blue and white split deck board models are instantly identifiable and have become an iconic part of bodyboarding history.

Some types of direct-to-garment printing designs can come out differently than expected. That's because for designs to be visible on all non-white items, the printer uses a white underbase — a mix of white color and the color you added in your design.

When printing on colorful or dark garments, a white underbase is used. The underbase is a mix of your intended color and white. The underbase cancels out the dark or bright-colored garment, making the print color stand out.
